125th birthday of Lögberg-Heimskringla
For all of us who attended the party, for all of us who helped in many and various ways with the party and for all of us – who sent messages of congratulations to the party, our Icelandic North American community was especially dear to us on the evening of
October 13, 2011. May that spirit live on and thrive for another
125 years.
L-H Endowment Fund
This is a permanent endowment fund established by
Lögberg-Heimskringla. Gifts to this fund are pooled and invested to benefit them in perpetuity. The income generated by this fund is distributed to Lögberg - Heimskringla to be used at its discretion.

What we did in 90 Hours
Support from The Winnipeg Foundation was allocated based on both the number of gifts and the dollar value of gifts.
The formula acknowledges every gift holds a value, plus the total dollars raised per Agency is part of the calculation.
Matching based on Number of Gifts - $18.25/gift 72 gifts $1314.40 Matching based on Amount Received - 11.08% $20,486.10 Matching amount received $2,269.44
